Ahmaad enjoys being outdoors and doing related activities, such as swimming and camping. He also loves watching T.V. shows such as Paw Patrol; as well as, listening to music with a strong beat (i.e. Reggae and Hip-Hop). He really likes when someone sings for him. In terms of food preferences, Ahmaad is not a picky eater by any means, but of course he does love pizza!
Alex is a self-described “clean freak”. He would also fall under the artsy category if you asked him. He loves to sing and write poetry and is currently teaching himself to play guitar. Alex finds joy in swimming and building things such as bicycles. He is taking a cooking class in school right now and is starting to show a real knack for it. His love for food varies between uber healthy to fried chicken. One thing is for sure, you will not likely find him cutting into a juicy steak or chomping down on a messy burger. Alex likes dogs and enjoys all genres of positive, “motivational” music. He is an excellent advocate for himself. So much so that he recently asked for a tutor or some other kind of positive support to help ensure his academic success. Alex is looking for a flexible foster family with a mom and a dad who won’t be afraid to hold him accountable. He would love to be an only child but is open to becoming a big brother.
Meet Alyha, Nevaeh, Marcos, Carlos, and Alice
Meet these amazing 5 siblings, who dream of forming their own rock band! Alyha, Nevaeh, Marcos, Carlos and Alice are happy, loving and active kiddos who enjoy being in each other’s company. All children are affectionate and turn to one another for comfort and fun. Alyha, Nevaeh, Marcos, Carlos and Alice pray over their meals and faith and family is very important to them.These siblings will keep any family on their toes, but will sure fill their days with joy, love and laughter. They need a loving home, where they can feel safe, know their routine and expectations and have guidance as they develop and grow.
Meet Amani, and Tre’Shaila
Double the smiles and double the fun! Meet Amani and Tre’Shaila, twins that although very similar, each have their own personality and spark.Amani is active, loves going to the park, sports and riding her bike with her twin sister Tre’Shaila. She is outspoken, protective of her sister and artistic; you will often find her drawing. Amani is kind and enjoys helping those around her and helping around the house, especially with making breakfast. Tre’Shaila is all around girly girl, who loves shopping. She is reserved and enjoys spending time indoors and being on her tablet. Tre’Shaila is artistic and loves anything pink. She enjoys riding her bike with her sister and roller skating. Like her sister ,Tre’Shaila’s favorite foods are pizza and burgers. Amani and Tre’Shaila share a strong bond and sense of humor. They have amazing personalities and are each other’s support system. These girls have experienced significant trauma in their lives and will need a family who is patient, loving and supportive. They need a structured home with a family that understands trauma, will earn their trust and can make them feel safe.
Meet Briana, and Isaac
These siblings are looking for a home where they can grow together and thrive. Briana is described by those who know her best as creative, maternal and liking things to be “fair.” In addition to having an affinity for social justice, she is a “girly girl” in the traditional sense. Briana loves having her hair done and likes Barbies/Babies. Her preferred movies include a Disney Princess. Briana volunteers to help with chores and makes her bed daily. When meeting new people Briana is guarded. Her space must be respected and her trust must be earned. Any applicant wishing to be considered must commit to “Meeting Briana where she is,” emotionally. Services to assist Briana with impulsivity are being explored. Briana excels at artistic expression and responds well to a predictable schedule. Sometimes Briana requires gentle reminders not to, “parent” her little brother. Isaac is an affectionate little boy who just turned four years old in January. His favorite toys are trucks, balls and above all else, his iPad. His favorite thing on TV is Umizoomi and his favorite food to eat is steak. Isaac gets along well with other children. Like his big sister, Isaac can be guarded when meeting new people. Isaac is being assessed for speech services. Both children like animals and are good with the pets in their current home. Additionally, both Briana and Isaac are good eaters and sleep well thru the night. These beautiful children share a strong bond with their current resource parents. They will benefit from a thoughtful transition.
Meet Dawson, and Donivan
Dawson is a charming, active and affectionate young man. He enjoys playing basketball, video games and playing cards. He also has a love for animals- horses being his favorite. Dawson interacts well with other kids and takes joy in teaching them how to do things. Donivan is a fun young boy. He takes a bit to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, he is active, sweet and outgoing. Donivan loves to play soccer and Nerf guns. He enjoys cooking and loves to eat. Donivan interacts well with other kids, especially males his age. These siblings are in need of a patient, committed and loving family willing to put the time into helping them continue to grow and are eager to be a part of their forever family.
Jabrion is an all-around great kid! Not only is he kind and selfless, but he likes to joke around and is very funny. Like most kids his age, Jabrion likes playing outside and riding his scooter. When he has some down time, you can find him playing with his tablet. He also is a big Seattle Seahawks fan!

Jamir is described as darling, smart, bright, intelligent, energetic and kind. He enjoys building Legos and loves to be outside riding his bike or playing soccer. He would love to be part of a soccer team. Jamir will need a family who is loving, supportive, kind and structured. He will also need ongoing positive encouragement and advocacy.

Jessica is an individual in the best sense of the term, and a remarkable self-advocate. She has made a very personal decision recently, and has come out as transgender. Jessica understands that being trans can mean her identity may be misunderstood but would appreciate using the pronouns, she/her. Initially Jessica can be shy and her trust must be earned, but when she is comfortable, Jessica is very outgoing and insightful beyond her chronological age. Jessica has a good sense of humor and appreciates that quality in others. This winter, she has aspirations to learn to ski and enjoy the mountains as much as possible. Jessica is hopeful in finding a family who will embrace her uniqueness, and will benefit from a home wherein she is the only child to open and flexible parent(s).

Jode is a shy, very smart, sweet and kind kid. He is in the 5th grade, enjoys learning, and does very well academically. He even has citizenship awards to prove it. At the moment, Jode has interests in the S.T.E.M. Academy (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), which provides a more challenging curriculum. Jode loves planets and hopes to be an astronomer when he grows up. He also enjoys nature and animals, along with playing video games (Roblocks) and watching You Tube videos about nature. Jode’s recently took up soccer to be more active and is having a good time with it. Jode is in need of a patient, committed and loving family willing to put the time into helping him continue to grow.
Jonas is sweet, personable and easy going. He has a creative side, is a great student and loves reading. Jonas likes to keep active and enjoys snowboarding, skateboarding and riding bikes. Jonas likes making people happy, and longs for the love and feeling of belonging that comes with being part of a family.
Jordan is described as funny, helpful, motivated, attentive and respectful and loving. He enjoys skateboarding, riding his scooter, playing video games and hopes to play football in the future. Jordan likes Canes chicken and is expanding his diet to include some healthier foods. He gets along well with younger children and older children as well. He has a sister he would like to continue visiting, and would like an adoptive family to have other kids, and parents who listen and can joke with him also. Jordan needs a loving home to advocate for him and understand his feelings of loss.
Juliana is hoping to find a kind, patient family who does not want to see her age out of the foster care system. She has a sweet, shy demeanor and can be slow to warm up. Still, once Juliana does warm up, she likes to joke around and is very funny. She likes basketball, volleyball, swimming, writing poetry and going to the movies. Juliana enjoys listening to rap; as well as, all other types of music. Her favorite band is S.O.B. and if you know who they are you might just be the family for her! She is also interested in photography and would love some guidance in this area. Juliana has goals of going to college so she can work with kids, perhaps as a child advocacy attorney or a social worker. She loves “giving back” and is wanting to dabble in world of volunteering.
Meet Kari, Camron , and Piper
These three have different personalities, but are quite the team! Piper likes walking at the park, biking and other exercise, playing with the Wii, or on her tablet and she loves frijoles and cream. She also likes dresses and dressing up. Camron loves being active and sports. You can find him playing basketball, biking and running from sport to sport. He also likes to do his hair and takes pride in his clothing and how he looks. He has taken quite the interest in learning Spanish also. Kari enjoys playing with her baby dolls, watching television and cooking. All of the kids enjoying going to the arcade and do great at the movies!
Katie is a unique teenager who is looking for an adoptive home. Katie’s passion is Japanese Anime. She is a dedicated fan who loves learning about and sharing all things Naruto. When she is not enjoying Anime, she likes Adult Swim cartoons and Rick & Morty. Additionally, Katie is interested in fantasy books and pop music. Her favorites are Billie Eilish and Panic! at the Disco. Katie also likes the classics…Grease is her favorite musical. Katie is a Leader in Training with a local organization working with young adults. She would love the opportunity to be a Big Sister. Katie is a freshman in high school. Although school is not her favorite, she is interested in learning another language and looks forward to taking a theater class. Katie states she wishes meet a family who is understanding of LGBTQ+ youth. Katie aspires to visit Florida (Universal Studios) and Japan. Katie will benefit from a caregiver/s who are good listeners and are able to meet her where she is emotionally. Katie requires a family who understands trauma and is willing to roll with resistance when she is struggling. She will benefit from caregivers who are consistent, predictable and honest.
Leann is described as friendly and energetic. She smiles a lot. Leann loves animals and would like to have her own pet someday. Leann would like to find a family that is active, likes sports and likes to go out in the community. Leann wants a caring and loving family that can be committed to be her forever family. She needs a consistent and stable home environment where she can feel secure and loved.

Meet Macen, and Ricky
Macen and Ricky in general, are laid-back, uninhibited and caring siblings who are optimistic about finding a forever home. Macen has a sweet and independent demeanor, is super creative and likes to keep things tidy. Ricky has a strong interest in anything tech related and is a game enthusiast. They both are in need of a flexible family that is caring, loving and committed to being their permanent home.
Madison is a fun and bright young woman who loves to be outdoors. She enjoys camping, jumping on trampolines, roller skating, going on family vacations and just hanging out with her friends. She also loves cheerleading and has the trophies to prove it! Madison likes a variety of music including pop, rock, R&B and country. She dreams of going to a live concert one day. Madison would do best as an only child, with her own bedroom and would love to have pets in her new home. She needs a kind, patient family who is willing to consistently remind her of their unconditional commitment to her.
Manson is a bright and sincere young man with a great sense of humor. He is friendly and outgoing- getting along well with new people, peers and adults alike. His genuineness and care for others is abundant. Manson loves music. His tastes vary from Metallica and Green Day, to Eminem and Snoop. Manson has played drums in the past and would like to resume this pastime. Presently, Manson aspires to a career associated with music. In addition to music, Manson enjoys Naruto, Dragonball Z and The Mandalorian. Previously, Manson played baseball and excelled at third base. Manson is earning good grades in high school which he attends virtually. He enjoys science and computers; however, he does not care for math. Manson would do best in a home where he is the only child or youngest in the home. Meet Noah, and Gabriel
Noah and Gabriel are easy-going and well mannered young boys. Noah has a kind, caring, empathetic disposition, who is helpful and smart. He enjoys learning and is fond of anything associated with nature and being outside exploring. He is also very much into electronics and superheros. Gabriel is courteous, friendly and funny. He has a great sense of humor and enjoys the humorous side of things. He's also into art and books, and loves playing outdoors. These kiddos are in need of a flexible foster family.
Meet Piper, and Kaylee
Piper and Kaylee are two beautiful girly girls with big hearts and even bigger dreams. They enjoy the outdoors, playing outside, going to the park and being active riding their bikes. Piper and Kaylee are very creative; they enjoy coloring vibrant pictures, just like their personalities. Their goals and dreams change often, ranging from wanting to be social workers, singers or fashion designers. Faith and family is important to both girls. Piper and Kaylee are sweet and loving little girls with big emotions. Both girls express wanting to have siblings and pets in their forever family. Piper and Kaylee need a loving home, where they can feel safe, know the routine and expectations. These two cuties will definitely keep their adoptive family on their toes.
Radarie is charming, generous and very helpful. He is supportive of others and eager to please. He is a major sports fanatic, enjoying basketball and football the most. During his free time, you can find Radarie outside, playing sports or doing what he loves best; making people happy. Radarie is very active and needs a family willing to involve him in engaging hobbies. He is in need of a supportive and consistent family willing to provide him with the permanency and stability that he deserves.
Randall is a guarded young man whose trust must be earned. He values loyalty and honesty and aspires to emulate these characteristics. After getting to know someone, Randall is outgoing and funny. His humor is wry and sophisticated beyond his chronological age. Randall states he gets along better with adults than with other young people. Randall’s favorite pastimes are playing basketball and videogames (COD and Fortnite). Randall would like to explore mixed martial arts (UFC). Music is also important to Randall. His favorite artists include Lil Wayne and Roddy Rich. Presently, Randal does not care for school. An ideal family will be willing to support and encourage Randall to increase his participation. Shawna excels at playing pool. She also likes to dance, and would like to take gymnastics lessons and join baking club. Shawna looks forward to joining a family. She has a brother who she has a close relationship with that she will want to be able to visit.
Shay’ani is a sweet girl who loves listening to Hawaiian music. She enjoys going for walks and spending time outdoors with horses. She is comforted by her soft blanket and the noise that her plastic egg with a coin inside makes when she shakes it. Shay'ani liked to spend some of her time watching television shows and movies. Her favorite movie is Moana. Shay’ani excels with caring, patient and supportive people, and is in need of a flexible family.
Sophia is undeniably easy-going and a terrifically composed young lady. She loves to read and takes delight in anything related to cooking. Her favorite past time is to watch cooking shows, learning all the tricks of the trade; in hopes that someday, she will become an excellent celebrity chef! Sophia has started dabbling in sports, and most recently began playing soccer and really enjoys the time spent outside. She likes to make people happy, smile and appreciates talking to anyone with similar interests that she has.
Meet Torrie, and Gyasi
Torrie and Gyasi are fun, active boys who are both optimistic about finding a kind, active family. Torrie is a caring, honest, open-minded boy with a great sense of humor. He loves basketball, participates in travel ball and has goals of playing professionally. Torrie also enjoys playing video games and takes pleasure in volunteering/giving back to his community. Gyasi is an honest, talkative teen who enjoys being helpful and loves experiencing new things. He is an excellent reader and has an award to prove it! Gyasi also enjoys basketball and has goals of playing professionally, being a social worker, running a group home or working with animals.
Meet Trey, Jayden, and Milo
These closely bonded, high energy little boys will have you laughing all day long. They love to make people happy, are sweet, silly, affectionate, and love cars and all things super-heroes.Trey is a pretty easy-going kid with an incredible imagination, who loves to make people happy. He is fearless, determined, adventuresome and not afraid to try new things... although he is a pretty picky eater. Still, he loves pizza, burgers, pasta with red sauce and cereal and is working on expanding his pallet. Jayden is very bright and articulate for his age. He is currently learning Spanish and his foster parents are impressed with the fact that he's doing so with no accent. He shows remarkable leadership skills and is very protective of his brothers. People will tell you that Jayden's smile lights up a room. He is a big hugger, loves to be a helper, and is a kind, loving, polite little boy with excellent manners and a little flirtation mixed in. Milo is all boy and looks up to his older brothers. Like Jayden, he is very bright and articulate for his age and is learning Spanish. He strives to be "a big boy" and loves to dress himself and be independent. Milo has an infectious laugh and is has a clever way of using his cuteness to his advantage. It's pretty easy to get sucked in.

Triston is a sweetheart who is excited to find his forever family. He loves animals- especially horses, is an excellent reader and enjoys books. Triston strives to do the right thing and does well in a structured environment.

There are approximately 800 children in the Washoe County Human Services Agency Foster System and fewer than 400 foster families. You can help fill this void and make a difference in a child’s life. Learn more on how to become a licensed foster parent.
Just an hour or more of your time each week can make a huge difference to a foster child. As a mentor, you will become a role model and friend to them. Start making a difference today.
